Bodies of 4 Arizona residents found along creeks- Raging streams have claimed 7 in week's time
The Arizona Republic Authorities recovered the bodies of three men and a teenager on Thursday, bringing the number of flood-related deaths in the state to seven in a week.
Three of the bodies were found in Sycamore Creek north of Fountain Hills and the fourth in Tonto Creek near Punkin Center.
"This may be the deadliest incident we have had in the state because of the storm with three in one location," said Maricopa County Sheriff's Lt. Paul Chagolla on Thursday after the bodies of Chandler brothers Gamaliel Nieto, 18, and Misael Nieto, 16, were discovered along Sycamore Creek along with the body of 22-year-old Queen Creek resident Ramiro Alanis.
