Agreement comes, McCain made it happen, So long Steroids!
I don't want to come off sounding like a cheerleader here, many factors contributed to this agreement and now was the time for it to happen. The culmination of media pressure due to the Balco case combined with the public pressure of John McCain were the key factors behind this agreement. Understand that this agreement happened and was announced from McCain's back yard... The same place from which he started applying the pressure a month ago when the player union began meeting.
