That is right, a small group of people in Phoenix marked the occasion by fighting... with each other. It was the most revolting thing I've seen in a long time. I hope that people in the black community in Phoenix will step up and reeducate the small group of youth that have no understanding of who Martin Luther King was or what he stood for... If not I fear we've taken a step away from the Dream rather than towards it. 3 arrested in melee after King event A series of minor brawls marred Monday's Martin Luther King Jr. festivities in downtown Phoenix, prompting police to use pepper spray on crowds of people and forcing some area store owners to temporarily close their shops.
