Arizona gas prices drop by three cents - 2005-01-07 - The Business Journal of Phoenix: "Gasoline prices have continued to fall in the new year, helped by a variety of factors. AAA Arizona, a membership travel services company, reports that the statewide average price for a gallon of self-serve, unleaded regular gas fell three cents this week to $1.82. In Phoenix, the average pump price also fell three cents to an average of $1.81 per gallon. Around the Phoenix area, gasoline is cheapest in the West Valley at $1.79 per gallon; most expensive in Scottsdale at $1.86. The national average pump price is down nearly two cents to $1.77 per gallon."
