The murder investigation saga of Dr. Stidham continues: 3 prosecutors' hearings public

3 prosecutors' hearings public | The Arizona Daily Star: One fired deputy Pima County attorney and two suspended prosecutors will have their disciplinary appeals hearings open to the public, despite the County Attorney's Office's request that the public be excluded. Pima County Attorney Barbara LaWall announced on Dec. 10 that she had fired prosecutor Paul Skitzki and issued three-week suspensions to Deputy County Attorneys Janet Altschuler, Nicki DiCampli and Brad Roach. All four prosecutors appealed to the Pima County Merit Commission, which will hear evidence and testimony, then decide to uphold, modify or overrule LaWall's disciplinary actions. No testimony or evidence involving the prosecutors will be heard until April, the commission decided Thursday.
