Turf Paradise raid yields horse drugs
Another scandle in Horse Racing- yea... that's what the sport needed.
Turf Paradise raid yields horse drugs: "State and federal officials raided barn areas Wednesday at Turf Paradise racetrack and a nearby storage locker to find performance-enhancing drugs that are suspected of being illegally administered to horses.
Substances were found at seven stalls or tack rooms of seven different horse owners or trainers at the Phoenix track, said Geoffrey Gonsher, director of the Arizona Department of Racing. He wouldn't name drugs found, nor people involved pending completion of a department report."
