New AIMS results show gains

New AIMS results show gains: "New 'AIMS' test results show gains by students who will be the first who must pass the reading, writing and math test to get a high school diploma. According to the state Department of Education, 51 percent of current juniors have now passed the math portion. That's up from 39 percent last spring when they first took the test. Similarly, 72 percent have now passed the reading portion, up from 59 percent, and 78 percent passed the writing portion, up from 62 percent."
