Tornado Warning in effect... (the storm has passed my location)
This will be the big story on the TV news tonight and in the papers tomorrow. That being the case unless a tragedy has occurred this will be the only time I mention it.
That said... Since when do we get tornados in Arizona? The first suspected tornado I remember was back in the 80's. We didn't have Doppler radar back then and I remember the news coverage being skeptical. Since then I think you could count every tornado in Arizona on one hand.
What I'm saying is tornados are rare in Arizona, but not unheard of. As technology advances it is easier to locate anomalies like tornados. This is not a sign, it's an advancement in our ability to see.
