The Arizona Republic- A specialty hospital to treat the most aggressive forms of cancer may be built as part of the state university medical school being planned for downtown Phoenix. The facility could be a last-chance treatment center for patients with cancer, similar to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston or Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.

Between the Translational Genomics Research Institute and the plan to open a Phoenix medical school, which would be operated by the University of Arizona and Arizona State University this makes sense...
